ADAMS, Forrest E. age 87 of Vandalia passed away unexpectedly October 28, 2006 at his residence. He was born April 2, 1919 in Morgan County, KY, son of the late Randall L. & Lillie (Robbins) Adams. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired stockman with the Chrysler Corporation with 30 years of service. Forrest was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel. Preceded in death by his wife, Mildred in 2000; 1 brother, Murvel C. Adams and 1 sister, Nelle Riney, Forrest is survived by 1 daughter, Linda & husband, James Frisbie of Butler Twp; 1 son, Ronald & wife, Dorcas Adams of Little Rock, AR; 5 grandchildren, Christina, Nicole, and Lindsey Adams and James III and Jason Frisbie; 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Tristian; 1 sister, Pat Schwartz of Centerville and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, November 6, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Jim Richardson officiating. Burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm.
