Harry SHELDON Obituary
News Death Notice
SHELDON, Harry R. Jr. passed away on July 16, 2012 at the Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield, Ohio from complications due to emphysema and COPD. He was born in Medford, MA on June 5, 1933 and married his soul-mate on June 16, 1956 in Wheeling, WV. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry R. Sr. and Dorothy Daily Sheldon, his sister Doreen E. Engler and his beloved wife of 45 years, Lillie M. (Potts) Sheldon. Survived by his brothers Alan (Kathy) and Charles (Sally) Sheldon; daughter Christine (John) Hemker of Beavercreek, OH; son Harry Ray (Dann) Sheldon III of Oakland, CA and his grandchildren, Mary, Kate, and Matthew, all of Beavercreek, OH. Harry was a past Master of Geo L. Marshall Lodge #734 as well as a member of the Eastern Star. At his request, there will be no memorial service and he has gifted his remains to the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program for educational and/or scientific purposes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone Home Health and Hospice, 949 North Main Street, Urbana, OH 43078. HIs family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Cornerstone Hospice as well as the nursing staff at the Ohio Masonic Home for their care and making him so comfortable in his last days.

Uncle Harry was a wonderful man. He lived life to the fullest and gave us all wonderful memories to last a lifetime. I just wonder what goes on in heaven with you there, I bet it's joyous. Never forget his wonderful voice, a beautiful voice.

I loved Uncle Harry, He was funny and kind. He could sing so beautiful. He had a wonderful voice. I wish he was still with us, He is in our hearts and memories.

Uncle Harry really enjoyed life. He was quite the character. He was a fun person. Never a dull moment when he was around. He had a amazing singing voice that no-one will ever forget.
