PRENAT, James F. Age 85, of Miamisburg, went to the Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2013. He was born November 17, 1927, near Lynchburg, Ohio to the late John and Mary Ellen (Whitley) Prenat. Jim worked at General Motors for forty-two years in both the Moraine and Dayton plants, retiring in 1988 as a foreman. Over the years, Jim was known for fixing many things for his family and friends. As Winnie always said, "If Jim can't fix it, it can't be fixed". He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Winifred "Winnie" C. (Landen) Prenat; two sons, Keith Prenat and Randy Prenat and daughter-in-law Laurie Prenat, all of Miamisburg; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Prenat of Glendale, WV; a niece, Karen (Dale) Everhart of Washington Court House; six grandchildren, Shane (Lynn) Prenat, Kris (Joel Mitchell) Prenat, Toni (Jerry) Malott, Amber (Eric) Dailey, Dusten (Jackie) Prenat and Zach (Kelley) Prenat; sixteen great grandchildren, as well as many other loving family members, friends and former co-workers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Todd N. Prenat; a sister, Marjorie (Prenat) McLaughlin, and two brothers, John Prenat and Roger Prenat. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Leo Kuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Buford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon on Saturday at the funeral home. Following burial, friends and family will be received in Jim's honor beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Deer Run Lodge, 10489 Dayton-Cincinnati Road, Miamisburg, Ohio.
