My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. I worked in the Personnel Office with John in the early 60's. He was hard-working, proud of his family and well liked by everyone. May your memories bring you comfort.

My condolences to Barbara and the whole Dalton family. I served with Sgt.Dalton in the personnel office at Wright Patterson from July 1962-April 1965. I was a snotty-nosed 2nd Lieutenant fresh out of college and one of the guys that John and the other NCO's kept out of trouble. I enjoyed that time with John, Sgt Heard and the other personnel in that group. May God bless the family during this difficult time.
