News Death Notice
CLAYPOOL, Leola L. age 81, went home to be with the Lord and her family on May 11, 2012. She was born in Montgomery, WV to the Herold and Freda Stewart. In addition to her parents, Leola was preceded in death by her husband, Roy (Pete) Claypool; daughter, Susan Lamont; and dear friend, Clarence Smith. Leola is survived by her two children, Kevin (Sue) Claypool and Leola Lynn Claypool; three grandchildren, Michelle (Brett) Madewell, Kendel (Chuck) Wallen and Nicholas Lamont; three great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brother, Gary Stewart; her cats, Tyquian and Kyling; and other family members and good friends. Leola had a great attitude and love for life, friends and family. A funeral service will take place on Friday May 18, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, where the family will receive friends prior from 12:00-1:30 pm.
