News Death Notice
BROCKMAN, Lois M. 78, of Vandalia, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 18, 1934 to William I. & Harriett E. (Hilliard) Wilson. Lois graduated from Fairview High School and attended Otterbein University. She was retired from Dayton Progress and was a member of Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, where she served on the Bereavement Committee. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin V. Brockman; granddaughter, Terri Lynne Boman; brothers, J. Irwin & Wayne Roy Wilson. Survived by 3 daughters, Kathryn L. Mitchell of Tipp City, Karen M. Brockman of Celina, Karla J. Boman (Billy) of Vandalia; son, Kenneth B. Brockman of Conyers, GA; grandchildren, Keith I. Boman (Chugz), Craig Boman (Anna) & Jennifer Welch; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for the excellent care & compassion for their mother provided by all her friends at Hospice of Dayton. Prayers 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel," 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Queen of Martyrs Church, 4144 Cedar Ridge Rd., Dayton. Father Joshua Otusafo, celebrant. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the George C. Martin Funeral Home.
