News Death Notice
HORNE, Marie I. age 99 of Washington Township passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Brookdale of Oakwood. Marie was born on December 13, 1912 in Dayton to the late Albert and Ione (Harbaugh) Hollman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Charles E. Horne. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Riveros and her husband Enrique of Fremont CA and Alice Gettle of Arvada CO; a sister, Evelyn List; and many other loving friends she made along the way. She was an honorary member of the Penbrooke Garden Club, and was associated with several sewing and civic clubs, one of which was her Steele High School group of 65 years. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Arrangements in care of TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - FAR HILLS CHAPEL.
