News Death Notice

HALE, Matthew V. and Gracie Ann HALE, Matthew V., age 24 and Gracie Anne, age 11 months; father and daughter passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012. Matt was born November 27, 1987 in Hamilton. Gracie was born August 26, 2011 in Middletown. Gracie was recently baptized at Sacred Heart Parish. Matt was a Product Extrusion Specialist at Deceuninck of North America in Monroe and was an avid outdoorsman, joining the Middletown Sportsmans Club enjoying hunting and fishing. Gracie was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, John B. and Margaret J. York. Matt and Gracie are survived by their wife/mother, Kate York - Hale; son/brother, Aiden Hale; parents, in-laws/grandparents, Marvin & Vicki Hale, Robin & Mark Sprowles and Mike and Melinda York; grandparents/great-grandparents, Vernal & Marie Hale, Robert & Bonnie Cooper and Andres & Teresita Maas; brothers/uncles, Dylan Hale, Nicholas Bogard, J.J. York and Justin York; sisters/aunts, Krystyna (1st Lieutenant Rob Moffitt) Hale, Katharine (Steve) Hamilton and Kimberly Sprowles; aunt/great-aunt, Donna Sprowles; both Matt and Gracie are survived by many other loving family members and friends. The family would like to thank all of the Emergency personnel that worked so diligently with Matt, Gracie, Kate and Aiden. Your extra efforts to comfort and care for the entire family will forever be appreciated. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 from 11:00 am until a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm with Father John Civille officiating at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodhill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family, C/O of the funeral home, to help with medical expenses.
