News Death Notice
SIMMONS, Oscar Fred Sr. (A.K.A. Slim/Tee) age 67 went to be with Jesus Christ on Wed. June 13, 2012 at 3:25A.M. A native of Atlanta, GA and resided in Dayton, OH for over 40 years. Retired worker from Kuntz Foundry and G.H.R. Foundry also worked many years at Custom Tire. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on May 2, 2012 through Apostolic Lighthouse Church. Preceded in death by his (mother) Hattie R. Simmons (brother) Bobby L. Simmons, (sister) Hattie L. Butler and (son) James Grant. He leaves to cherish his memory (brothers) Willie and Mann, (sisters) Mary and Carolyn, (son) Michael, Madison, Oscar Jr., Randall and Travis, (daughters) MaDonna, Michelle, Natasha, Pam, Nakisha, Darra, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 2221 Harshman Rd., Huber Heights, Ohio 45424.
