Wanted to extend my sympathies to Pat's family. My father and I were Dayton Gem fans and had run across Pat many times during his time with the Gems.

Kathy, I was so saddened to hear about Pat's death. I remember him fondly from the many Samaritan Health Foundation Board meetings! I also remember our fun times when you were a volunteer at the Foundation. My thoughts are with you and your family.

At age 15 (in 1971) I attended my first hockey school and Pat was the instructor of my group. I was honored and humbled to be outskated by a guy in goalie skates. He said to me, "more than anything, learn to have fun". Twentysome years later, we were team mates one season in Megacity hockey. Pat was a true gentleman that I am proud to have known. With deepest respect.

Dear Kathy and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Pat's death. I always enjoyed seeing him at various Gold Team and PAC conferences I attended over the years that I was associated with American Express Financial Advisors. Pat was a natural leader and motivator, and fun to be around. I always enjoyed what he had to say. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Kathy,Boy has the phone rung off the hook this morning!Pat and You are loved by many people.Since I have retired I have missed the friendships that we nurtured over the years. When I saw that there was a celebration of Pat's life scheduled for tomorrow I really wanted to be there. However we have to meet with the football coach at a university where Luis (our peruvian son)is being recruited to go to college. I remember the great fun that we had playing tennis, vacationing together, racing golf carts, and the ceremonial "wet willie" (the wet finger in the ear canal) that I was either the recipient of or the giver of to Pat.I know that You and he have lived a great life but can only imagine the loss that people who knew Pat will realize.
Please accept out condolences and "wet willie " someone tomorrow for me in honor of Pat. Gos bless and let us know if we can be of service to You,Bob and Debbie

I am so sorry to hear of Pat's death. I knew and worked with him for many years at Amex. He was a great advisor and a great innovator. He was a leader by example. The tenacity he displayed playing hockey or tennis was the same tenacity he brought to running his business and doing the right things for his clients. He served on our advisory board and was always advancing ideas that were ahead of their time. Plus he was fun to be around. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he loved to laugh. I will miss him. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was so sorry to hear about Pat. I had worked with Pat for over 15 years. Pat was responsible for teaching me much of what I know today about company sponsored retirement plans.
It was a pleasure working with him. He will be missed.
God Bless his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Kathy, I am sorry for your losing your dear Pat. I sensed a great love in your relationship last year as the two of you considered the new office space that you later occupied.
It was a year ago that I was e-m Pat about it. He wanted me to come see the finished product and I regret that I delayed it so long. It wasn't until we were back down here in FL that I read the very nice column that Tom Archdeacon wrote and I learned of Pat's cancer.
Now I regret that I won't be there to celebrate his life. My thoughts are about Pat today and my prayers are with you and your family.
