News Death Notice

CALLISON, Philip Thomas 86, of Fort Myers, FL passed away on July 16, 2011. He was born on December 22, 1924 in Dayton, OH. Mr. Callison was a successful businessman and was a retired owner of Sugar Creek Ready Mix. He was a veteran of the U S Navy. He was a Licensed Boat Captain and a Licensed Airplane Pilot. Philip belonged to the Masonic Lodge and the Shrine Club for many years. He was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris Callison of Ft. Myers, FL; his children, Dennis (Dawn) Callison of Dayton, OH and Sue (Biffle) Davis of N. Ft. Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Richard Callison of Dayton, OH and Lexa Donnelly of OK. 6 great grandchildren; Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy., Cape Coral, FL 33909. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
