News Death Notice
ANDREWS, Phyllis Raye (Brewer) age 73 of Union, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012. She had been a bartender for 25 years at the V.F.W. Post 5434 in Union. Phyllis was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Axillary, the F.O.E and the former American Legion Post 487 in West Milton. She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Gerald "Andy" Andrews, daughters: Sandy and Danita Andrews of Union, siblings: Theda Bryant of Miamisburg, Carl "Sunny" (Pat) Brewer of FL, Doris Hall of Fairborn, Ralph "Pete" Brewer of KY, Lois (Ken) Abbott of Springfield, Sylvia "Poochie" (Roy) Davidson of Loveland, Anna Davis of KY, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Spurgeon and Ethel (Hibbard) Brewer and sister: Juanita Wallace. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Pastor Ralph Helm officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. until time of services. Interment will be at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville at the convenience of the family.
