News Death Notice
DRANE, Presstine of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 3, 2012. She was born to the late William Qualls and Esterline Miles on November 11, 1947 in Marion, KY. As a young girl, she moved to Dayton, OH, where she resided until her time of death. She was employed at Miami Valley Hospital as a Surgical Technician for many years as he raised her children. She was a member of Mt. Enon Baptist Church, and later attended RCMI Church. She is also preceded in death by her step-father, Robert C. Drane. She leaves behind (4) children, Preston (Stephanie), Phillip (Leticia), Panitra (Tayveon) and Patrina Drane; (3) sisters, Brenda, Patrice and Pamela; (13) grandchildren, Preston Jamar, Janiya, Kayin Drane, Phyllisa, Shamari Drane, Tozene and Tozua Jackson, Shawn Reid Jr., JaMarcus (Tina), Janitra (Jaron), JaMartay Brown, JaMariyo Drane and Jashon Walker; (1) great grandchild, JaMariya Hawkins; (2) expected great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, special children, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services 1:00 P.M., FRIDAY, June 15, 2012 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Rev. Tamara Evans, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
