TURNER, Robert A. "Bob" Age 80, of Bellbrook, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Liberty Healthcare Center. Bob was born November 27, 1924 in Jackson, KY to the late Elvira Noble Turner and the late Daniel Turner. He was a WWII Navy veteran who served in the Pacific on the USS Thompson. He retired from N.C.R. after 41 years where he worked as an electrical engineer. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and swimming. Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Pauline "Polly", son Dan Allen Turner & his wife Carleen of Oakwood, daughter Kathy Watern and her husband Jeff of Centerville, brother Joe Noble of Hillsboro, and 3 grandchildren, Brent, Caroline, and Brock, all of Oakwood. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday Feb. 11, 2005 at CONNER & KOCH FUNERAL HOME, 92 W. Franklin St. (S.R. 725), Bellbrook. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday Feb. 12, 2005 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4030 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook. Pastor Stephan Becker will be officiating. Interment in Bellbrook Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, 3797 Summit Glen Dr., Suite 100, Dayton, Ohio 45449.
