News Death Notice

BEACHLER, Robert W. age 90, of Brookville, formerly of Clayton, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center. He served in the US Army during WWII. Robert and his family were former owners of United Fireworks and he owned and managed numerous rental properties in the area. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookville and was a member of the Antioch Temple in Dayton where in 1972 he served as Potentate. He is survived by his wife: Elsie (Weiss), daughter and son-in-law: Robin (Michael) Wark of Delphos, OH, son: Craig Beachler of CA, and grandchildren: Lee & Keri Wark. He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Helen (Nicholas) Beachler and a brother: Donald Beachler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Jim Miller officiating. The Kindred Funeral Home of Englewood is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners' Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45229.
