Billy was our home town hero. All were proud of him and loved to be around him. I was a younger girl when I first knew of him. I remember how handsome and friendly he was. He and my big sister Angela were godparents to Amy Engler. I'll try to find the photograph Amy sent me earlier this year and post it. I send my condolences and love to all his loved ones and all who loved and cherished him. Pamela Zerbe

God rest your soul Billy. We played American Legion ball together in 60 and 61.

I could hit your fastball. Used a 32" bat wrapped with adhesive tape and choked up a lot. Then swing somewhere. No one could see that fastball, so just swing.

Billy was a great person with a big heart and happy thoughts.
