News Death Notice
CABLE, Ms. Brenda Lee age 62, of Trotwood, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 30, 2012. Born in Dayton to the late Charles Thomas Cable and Bobbie Jean Lane. She was a civil servant with Montgomery County and helped to educate the developmentally challenged until her retirement. Brenda was a dedicated member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her daughter, Denita Cable; grandparents, William F. and Emma A. Cable & Mahalia Jackson. She leaves to mourn, her son, Dwight W. Cable Sr. (Angela); stepson, Kelvin Wilson; special son, Calvin Phillips; siblings, Patricia C. Moore (Albert), Venita and Anthony (Netta) Cable & Jonathon and Dennis Rucker; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a host of dear family and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Emmanuel M.B. Church, 1720 Linnbrook Drive. Rev. Reginald Frey officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens. Visitation 10 am Saturday at the church until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N.
