News Death Notice
COBB, Charles Raymond of Frostproof, Florida passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at his residence due to leukemia. He was born March 10, 1935 in Fort Thomas KY to the late Joseph Marion & Kattie Mae (Ruddell) Cobb; he moved to Florida from Dayton, OH in 2004. He was a retired office equipment salesman, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints and served in the U.S. Air Force. Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Ann (Shaw) Cobb; one son, Bruce Leonard Cobb; his parents; two brothers, Noble Cobb and Earl Cobb; and one sister, Louise Brooks. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Jennie Cobb; daughter, Karen Clark (Dan) of Dayton, OH; son, Kenneth Cobb of Dayton, OH; step-daughter, Jessica Ward of Frostproof, FL; step-son, Ryan Gross of Missouri; seven grandchildren, four step grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Woodland Cemeterys chapel in Dayton.
