News Death Notice
O'NEILL, Mabel I. age 81, of West Carrollton, OH, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012. Mabel was born December 1, 1930, in Salt Lick, KY, to the late Rainie and Leva (Lewis) Wells. She retired in 1992, from Aeronca, Inc. in Middletown, after 27 years of service. In addition to her former husband, William O'Neill, Jr., she was preceded in death by her son, Wayne O'Neill, great-grandson, Dale Snider; 2 brothers, John and Oliver P. Wells; and 2 sisters, Catherine "Mae" Johnson and Shirley Peadon. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Shields of West Carrollton; her son, George (Kathryn) O'Neill of Moraine; 7 grandchildren, Donna "Janine" Snider and Betsy Atkins both of Miamisburg, Christopher O'Neill of Germantown, Travis O'Neill of Springboro, Heather and Ashley O'Neill both of Centerville, and Jesse Wayne O'Neill of Middletown; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Martha Sorrell and Laura Garcia of Middletown. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 22nd, at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, where the Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, with Pastor Tim Baker officiating.
