News Death Notice
PIGG, Margaret E. "Peggy" A selfless wife, mom, grandma, sister and friend, passed away Sunday June 17, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital at the age of 66. She was born Dec. 14, 1945 in Dayton to Mary Louise (Smith) and William Pearlie Dillon. Peggy retired from McCall's where she worked as a binder. She enjoyed BINGO, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities. More than anything, she loved her family and doing whatever the family enjoyed, putting them first in everything. Peggy will also be lovingly remembered for being a great host and an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Shawn Lee and brother William "Bill" Dillon. Peggy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Herbert Willard "Herb" Sr., son Herbert Willard "Herb" Jr., three daughters Tonya Toht & husband Mike, all of Bellbrook, Julie Beck and husband Bill of Gainesboro, Tennessee, Jenny Mahan (Phillip) of Cookeville, Tennessee, eight grandchildren Shawn, Candice, Tiffany, Robert, Brittani, Taylor, Caleb and Jenna, brother Steve Dillon and wife Eunice of Dayton, three sisters Diane Brummitt of Franklin, Mary Williams and husband Ronnie of New Lebanon, and Marilyn Swim and husband Jerry of Kettering. The family will receive friends Wed. June 20 from 5-8 pm at Conner & Koch Funeral Home, 92 W. Franklin St. (S.R. 725), Bellbrook (937-848-6651).
