News Death Notice
SHIVERDECKER, Mary Ellen (Robert) Of Brookville, (Brookhaven), went to walk with Jesus Monday, June 18 at 3:55 AM after 99 years, 10 months & 5 days here on earth, enriching the lives of everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Abraham Lincoln (Cody) Shiverdecker in 1984; 3 sons, Jack, Lewis & Larry and grandson Greg (all Shiverdecker); she was also preceded by her parents, Henry & Alice May (Bierly) Robert; 3 sisters, 2 brothers and many other loved ones. She is survived by 3 daughters, Freda (Detrick) Falldorf, Thelma (Leslie) Brower & Lorna (James Michael) Bowser; 16 grandchildren, Gloria Shiverdecker, Rick, Rand & Todd Shiverdecker, Krista Ullery, Terry & Curtis Falldorf, Diane Soper, Sharon Bowers, Edward Brower & Gina Bertke, David & Douglas Shiverdecker, Melissa Epperly, Beth & Bradley Bowser; sister, Pheoba Mundhenk; daughters-in-law, Patsy Alspaugh, Brenda Shiverdecker & Rosa Lee Shiverdecker. Mary Ellen's family now totals over 150 loved ones, including her great & great-great-grandchildren. Her family wishes to invite anyone who wants to help Celebrate her Life, to come to Pyrmont United Methodist Church on Mary's 100th birthday, Monday, August 13, at 10:30 AM.
