News Death Notice
HARRIS, Ruth S. age 91, of Beavercreek passed away on June 24, 2012 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. She was born April 1, 1921, in Corbin, KY, to Robert and Alice Stansberry. She is survived by her son, Harold B. Harris, Jr and spouse, Billie C. Harris; daughter-in-law, Kathy Harris (South Carolina); granddaughters, Kathy Williams (Cincinnati) and Beth Green and spouse, Bruce Green (Bellbrook); great grandchildren, Emma and Wesley Green (Bellbrook). She is preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and sisters, spouse of 69 years, Harold B. Harris and son John R. Harris. Ruth was a member of Fairborn St. Luke United Methodist Church. A private family service will be held at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH. Rev. Karen Fox will preside. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel.
