News Death Notice
REICHARD, Ronald E. age 65, passed away on June 29, 2012 at Hospice of NW Ohio in Perrysburg. Ron was born Feb 10, 1947 in Hazard, KY. Ron graduated from Stebbins HS (Dayton) in 1965 with an athletic (football) and academic scholarship to the University of Dayton. He graduated from UD in 1969 with a degree in English Education. After teaching journalism and coaching tennis at Stebbins HS, Mr. Reichard received his Juris Doctorate from Chase Law School at Northern Kentucky University in 1974. He began practicing law with Pickrel, Schaeffer and Ebeling Law Firm in Dayton that same year. Ron began his walk with God at Spinning Road Baptist Church and continued his spiritual journey always serving God in roles of leadership. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Henry Reichard Jr ad Jeanette Adams Reichard ; and a brother, Henry (Buddy) Reichard III. Ronald is survived by a brother, Roger (Pat) Reichard (Florida); four children- Betsy (Dan) Bellavia (Perrysburg), Michael Reichard (Philadelphia, PA), Debbie (Josh) Reichard-Smith (Cincinnati), Stephen Reichard (Kettering); four grandchildren- Scott (Chelsea) (Seaside, California), Christopher, John and James Bellavia; a great-grandson- Gabriel Bellavia; and a step-daughter- Dawn McCulloch Gomez (Florida). A memorial service will be held at the chapel at Dayton Memorial Park (8135 N Dixie) on Friday, July 13 at 11 AM. The family will receive family and friends from 10-11 AM at the chapel with interment immediately following. Rev. Daniel Bellavia will officiate.
