MILLER, Richard A., "Dick" age 77 of Englewood, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Lawrence Miller. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Barbara, a son Jeff and his wife Sue and their daughters Megan and Madeline, a daughter Karen Hicks and her son Lyle and daughter Leah, mother-in-law Ethel Zell, cousin Bill Haas and his wife Sondra, and Dick's faithful companion Caesar. He was a 1953 graduate of Fairview High School and a 1957 graduate of Miami University. He retired from Serva Tool Inc., and was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Butler Twp. He was a Past President of the Friends of Aullwood and a founding member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Dick was also a member of the Northmont Optimist Club and Past President of the Englewood Hills Little League. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church 7700 Dog Leg Rd. at Little York Rd. by Rev. Kurt Lammi. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Friends of Aullwood or St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dick's memory.
