News Death Notice
FREW, Dawn Marie (Jenkins) age 43, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 17, 2012 after courageously battling cancer for 9 years. She was preceded in death by her father, David E. Jenkins; grandparents, Rev. Earl & Mary Jenkins and Charles & Viola Northern; and several other relatives. Dawn is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Gary Frew; mother, Phyllis Jenkins; step-children, Katrina (Jabari) Peoples and Kearsten Williams; step-grandchildren, Karina Salyer, Abram and Joshua Williams; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 11am-12pm at Kettering Assembly of God (2250 E. Stroop Rd.). A memorial service will begin at 12pm, with a dinner celebration to follow at the church. Donations may be made in Dawn's memory to the Lymphoma Foundation of America (1100 N.
