News Death Notice
BAKER, Norma Jeanne (aka Marilyn Monroe). Age 81, of Riverside died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at home. A wonderful wife, mother & grandmother. Born in Nebraska on April 30, 1931 to the late Thomas & Harriet (Shoaf) Harkness. Norma graduated from Hot Springs High School (Ark.) in 1949. She worked for Goldman's & Ponderosa Corporate offices, retiring in 1993. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 58 yrs., Joseph F Baker Sr. Survived by brother Thomas Harkness Jr (Shirley), son Joseph F Baker Jr (Peggy), daughters Cyndie Baker & Kathleen Russell (Steve), grandchildren Sarah Roush-Reynolds (Maury), Nathan Baker, Kadi Peery, Emma Russell, great grandchildren Jackson & Lucy Reynolds, many nieces, nephews and extended family. Donations in her honor can be made to A Special Wish Foundation in Dayton. Norma donated her remains to the WSU School of Medicine. A private memorial will be at a future date.
