COOPER, Mr. Dwight (Coop) died on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital. A native of Dayton, he graduated from Dunbar High School Class of 1974, served in the U. S. Army and retired from the City of Dayton. He also worked with the Dayton Boys and Girls Club for over 10 years and was a great coach of many AAU teams. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lizzie Bell Cooper; and his brother, Fred Cooper, Sr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah Cooper; (2) daughters, Toni and LaCrystal Jones; (6) step-sons, William (April) Turner, Vincent Andrews, William, Timothy, Rodney and Robert Rainey; his father, Strawder Cooper, Sr.; (2) sisters, Susan Cooper and Beverly (Frank) Parks, Sr.; (1) brother, Strawder Cooper, Jr.; (15) grandchildren; (2) great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, including devoted nephew, Frank Park, III and friends, including special friends, Robert Andrews, Joyce Owens, Michael Baker and Fred Lowe. Funeral Service 11:00a.m., Monday, July 30, 2012 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., Trotwood, Ohio, with Rev. Andre Keeley, officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
