News Death Notice
MOORE, Helen M. (Horan) age 85 of Centerville, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012. She was born in Elmhurst, Long Island, NY on January 21, 1927 to John and Anita Horan (Hoffman). Helen graduated from Newtown High in Elmhurst in 1945 and worked in the insurance industry in New York City. She was also a very talented seamstress for over 50 years. Helen loved crafts, especially doll making. Her works were frequently in shows in California where she had a loyal customer base and made many friendships over the years. Helen was a loving, devoted and caring mother who was always had everyone's best interest at heart. Preceded in death by her husband, Olan L. Moore in 1990. Helen is survived by her children, Brian Moore and Karen Moore; and her brother John "Jack" Horan and wife Jean. Family will greet friends from 8:30 - 9:30am on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave, Centerville, OH. Burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to
