News Death Notice
HICKS, Mrs. Ernestine Audrey age 75 was born August 20, 1936 in Gaffney, South Carolina. She departed from this life on August 15, 2012 in Denver, Colorado. She was the youngest daughter of the late Johney and Gracie Lipscomb. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Curtis N. Hicks (University of Dayton). She leaves behind her sons Anthony C. Hicks, Sr. and wife Portia of Denver, Colorado; Johney B. Hicks and wife Angela of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Kayla, Anthony II, Johnathan, and Bryce. sisters, Minnie (Herdia) Makupson, Cleo Miller, and Almeter (William C). Proctor all of Dayton, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 23, 2012 at H. H. Roberts, 38 So. Gettysburg Ave.. Rev. Theodore McFarland Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends 10-11 :00 A.M. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. HHRoberts.com
