News Death Notice
LAWSON, Elizabeth Emma age 91; formerly of Dayton, departed this life on Monday, August 13, 1920 in Norfolk, VA. She was born in Georgetown, Kentucky. She was a member of St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Thomas; daughter, Annhara Lewis; son, Robin Lawson; and her sister, Lillie Mae Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory; (4) daughters; Rosemary Lawson of Westchester, OH, Suzanne (Clarence) Burr of Henderson, NV, Fabienne (Cecil) Warren of San Antonio, TX, and Holly (Paul) Smith of Dayton, OH; (1) son, Mark (Sylvia) Lawson of Chesapeake, VA; (11) grandchildren; (21) great grandchildren; (1) great- great grandchild, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M., TUESDAY, August 21, 2012 at ST. BENEDICT THE MOOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 519 Liscum Dr., Father Francis Tandoh, CSSP, Pastor, with Father Terry Meehan, Celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
