News Death Notice

LACY, Louise age 86, of Farmersville, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday August 21, 2012, at the family home. She was born in Nicholasville, KY, on May 17, 1926, to the late Otis B. and Naomi (Lykins) Hager. Louise married Dick Lacy, on Nov. 5, 1945, in Paris, KY. They resided in White Oak, KY, until Jan of 1951, when the family moved to Moscow, OH. The Lacy family moved to, and has resided, on the family farm in Farmersville, since Jan of 1961. She was a member of Farmersville United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Richard E. "Dick" Lacy (2009); and a son Richard Wayne Lacy (1997); her 3 brothers, Otis B. Hager, Jr., Joseph S. Hager, Norman L. Hager; and a sister, Jean Spigle. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dirschl C. & Karen (Kees) Lacy of Centennial, CO; and her daughter-in-law, Barbara (Kramer) Lacy of Farmersville; 3 grandchildren, Kelly Lee Lacy of Farmersville, Krystal Lee (Abe) McNutt of Germantown, and David Paul (Brittany) Lacy of Denver, CO; great-granddaughter, Lacy Lee McNutt; her brother, Robert C. (Doris) Hager; sisters, Evelyn (Everett) Blount, Gaile (Randy) Lewellen; sister-n-law, Jo Hager; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call 3-5 p.m., Sunday, August 26th, at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, an additional view will be held 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Monday, (1 hour prior to the service), with the Funeral Service to follow at 10 a.m., with Pastor Susan Hartman officiating.
