News Death Notice
OSTERHAGE, Fr. Louis, C.PP.S. 81, died on September 13, 2012, at St. Charles Center, Carthagena, Ohio. Fr. Osterhage served as pastor of St. Joseph Church in downtown Dayton from 1996-2009. He is survived by a large family, with whom he was very close, and by his brother Missionaries of the Precious Blood. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 17 at 2 p.m. at St. Charles Center. Burial will follow in the Community cemetery. Calling hours at St. Charles will be held from 1-5 and 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, with a prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Society of the Precious Blood.
