News Death Notice

TURNER, Mr. Curley age 83, of Trotwood, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012. A graduate of Dunbar High School, Class of 1949. A veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from General Motors after 30+ years of service. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for over 50 years, serving in the Male Chorus. Preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Ollie Turner; daughter, Adrinnie Turner; 3 brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 57 years, Rosie L. Turner; son, Dennis Turner; brothers, Frank (Vivian) and Robert (Patricia) Turner, Robert Craig; sisters, Gladys Phipps & Corinthia Bonds; granddaughter, Brooklyn Davis; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, October 15, 2012 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 502 Pontiac Street. Rev. Carlton Williams officiating. Visitation 9 am Monday at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N.
