News Death Notice
BROOKS, Mary M. (Olt) age 94 of Clayton, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012. Mary was a graduate of Randolph High School class of 1936. She retired after 20 years as a realtor with Dick Reedy Realty. Mary was also an active member of Happy Corner Church of the Brethren and enjoyed painting. She is survived by her husband of 65 years: Hershal Brooks, sons and daughters-in-law: Chris and Susie Brooks of Lewisburg, Craig and Terri Brooks of Brookville, grandchildren: Adam and Anna Brooks, Amy (Matthew) Miller, Ashley (Nic) Garman, niece, nephew, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Anna (Peeling) Olt and brother: Wilbur Olt. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Happy Corner Church of the Brethren (7037 Union Rd., Clayton) with Pastor Trent Smith officiating. Interment will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).
