News Death Notice
HARRIS, Carrie M. Age 85 of New Lebanon, went to be with her Lord on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012. She was born on May 1, 1927 in Russell Co., Virginia to her parents, Robert L. & Julia Ann Jones, whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Arlis, in 1999; 4 sisters & 2 brothers. Survived by 1 sister, Edna Roberts; 2 sisters-in-law, Erlene Bush & Lois Harris; best friends, Mary Dixon, and Randy & Tammy Rehmert; also numerous, nieces, nephews, friends, and family members. Carrie worked and retired from Mikesell's Potato Chips Company after 34 years of service. She loved to sew and quilt and was a longtime, dedicated member of Union Road Pentecostal Church. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm with funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at Rogers' Funeral Home, New Lebanon. Pastor Clifford Hurst will be officiating. Interment will follow the service at Trissel Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to the Union Road Pentecostal Church.
