ISRAEL, Mr. Delaiah (aka, Dell Black) age 59, of Dayton, departed this life unexpectedly Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at his residence. A native of Dayton, Ohio, he was a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, class of '71, attended Central State University and was a former employee of Syncreon Corporation . Delaiah was a licensed Carpenter, by trade. Delaiah was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Black, and two children, Davide and Kameo. Survivors include his wife, Rejeana Israel; children, Daniel (Kasha) Black, Rachel (Glenn) Ford, Nate (Candace) Coggins, Deborah Coggins, Danielle and Ashley Richardson; siblings, Carol (James K.) Thomas and Don Black; (2) sisters-in-law, Shante Richardson and Brenda Black; mother of his children, Diane Coggins; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 1:00 P.M., THURSDAY, November 8, 2012 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Minister Becky A. Dyer, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
