News Death Notice
LING, Dennis Kelley age 64 of Union, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012. He retired from GM-Delphi with 28 years of service. Dennis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of West Milton Church of the Nazarene and the American Legion Post #707 in Englewood. He was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Northmont Thunderbolts. He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Reta (Wilcher) Ling, children: Brian (Traci) Ling of Union, Julie (Bill) Matthews of West Milton, Jeffery (Denise) Ling of Walbridge, grandchildren: Stevie, Max, Ziya, Abigail, Sarah, great grandson: Aiden, siblings: Larry (Cindy) Ling of Spring Valley, Bennie (Eva) Ling of Bellefontaine, Charlie (Melanie) Ling of FL, Linda (Barry) Howard of Fairborn, mother-in-law: Sarah Davenport of AZ, step mother: Kathy Ling of FL, several step-brothers and step-sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence Arnold Ling and mother: Jennie Mae (Kelley)Weng. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.,on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Pastor Charles Meinecke officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, at Middle Run Cemetery near Bellbrook.
