John W. DAVISON Obituary

News Death Notice

DAVISON, John W. age 81 of Beavercreek, joined his wife Shirley in the kingdom of God on Thursday December 27, 2012. He will be remembered as a loving husband, caring and supportive father and grandfather, and a compassionate friend to many people. He was admired for his broad knowledge of a wide variety of subjects, for his eagerness to help people, his compassion for others, and his classic taste for the finer things in life. John was retired from the Air Force and retired as a civilian at the WPFAB research lab where he so proudly worked for many years and made many friends. He loved golfing with his friends and family, and they all know he played it as much as time and circumstance allowed. John is survived by his 4 children, Sharon Frasure of Dayton OH, Mark Davison of Fairborn OH, Jeff Davison of Eden Prairie MN, and Trisha Davison of Arlington VA, as well as their spouses; his 5 grandchildren, Josh Frasure, Justin Frasure, Amanda Kirkpatrick, Jared Frasure, and Amanda Lasson; and 7 great grandchildren. His children will all miss his compassionate support, love, and guidance he was so willing to give. His presence will be felt for a long time to come. He always spoke fondly of his friends throughout the years and was thankful for the time spent with them. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke Catholic Church at 10:00AM on Monday, January 7, 2013 and a reception immediately following services. In lieu of flowers please make donations to: , or Hospice of Dayton. Services in care of TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL.
