DEARTH, Norman R. Age 77, of Verona, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at his home, following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marlene, by his parents, & by a brother Richard. He attended the Gordon United Methodist Church. Norm was an accomplished auto mechanic and a longtime NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marilyn; 5 children & their spouses, Debra (Micky) Davis, Brenda (Alan) Szwec, Tammy Caylor, Dale Dearth, Daniel (Laura) Dearth; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; brothers, Al, Russell & Paul Dearth, and numerous other relatives and friends and last but not least, his favorite cat, Snowball. A visitation will be held at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, 1:30 - 4:00 PM Sunday, Jan. 20, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM, with Pastor John Gilmore officiating. A private burial service will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Hospice of the Miami Valley, 46 N.
