News Death Notice

WHITTENBERGER, Adell 78 of Englewood, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Thomas D. Whittenberger Sr. in 1990, her parents Okus and Elsie (nee White) Robertson. Adell is survived by one son Tom Whittenberger of Northridge; two daughters and sons-in-law Renee and Russell Kling of Springboro, Gayle and Dave Bowlin of Miamisburg, two sisters Nadine Noffsinger, Loretta and her husband Jimmy Grace all of Greenville, KY; one brother and sister-in-law William and Judy Robertson of Dunmore, KY; five grandchildren Angela (Michael) Ditmer of Vandalia, Aaron Bratka of Xenia, Ryan Curp of Sarasota, FL, Adam Whittenberger of Northridge, Thomas Whittenberger III of Kalamazoo, MI, several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her loving companion of 22 years Isaac "JR" Lynch of Englewood, his sons Isaac "Sonny" (Mary) Lynch of Clayton, and their children, Jared, Cherie and Christie; Tim (Ann) Lynch of Vandalia and their children Charlie and Katie; several nieces, nephews and many friends. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road, Wednesday evening January 23, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm. A Celebration of Adell's life will be 11 am, Thursday, January 24, 2013 with Pastor Dan Kincer presiding. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Her family would like to extend a special Thank You to Englewood Manor, Dayton Dialysis and Miami Valley Hospital Staff's for their loving care they gave mom.
