News Death Notice
MACKOWAY, Megan M. age 28 of Waynesville passed away unexpectedly Sun. Jan. 6, 2013 while visiting her boyfriend in California. Megan graduated from Waynesville High School in 2003. After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in English from Wright State University in 2007, she attended Sinclair and received degrees as an Aircraft Dispatcher and an Unmanned Areal Systems STK certified Rocket Scientist. She previously worked at the Fabric Shack and Bentino's Pizza in Waynesville; was a editorial intern for TrekkerTime and LifeBound. Megan also worked at her photography studio. For the past six years she worked at Health Foods Unlimited in Dayton. She greatly enjoyed photography, hiking, and hanging out with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her mom Connie Mackoway. She is survived by her dad Frank Mackoway, sister Katie Mackoway (Robert Young), significant other Andrew Kirby, mentor Adair Roberts, and Godparents Jiles and Sharon Farley. Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sat. April 6 at Bonnybrook Farms, Clarksville. Pastor Dude Evans officiating. The family will receive friends 10 am - 1 pm this Sat. Feb. 2 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville and again 1-2:00 pm Sat. April 6 at Bonnybrook.
