News Death Notice
BEATTY, Alan D. 61, of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away Monday, February 4, 2013. He was born September 22, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Rex & Ruth (Freeland) Beatty. Alan lived at Montgomery Developmental Center in Huber Heights. He is survived by a sister, Shirley Seaman of New Carlisle; a brother, Danny & Jane Beatty of South Carolina; nieces, Sally & Bob Swearingen, Donna & Roger Diller, Carla & Mike Harrison, Kris & Mike Zimmerman; nephews, Jerry & Kim Patton, Danny & Brenda Beatty, Dustin Beatty; several great nieces, nephews. Alan was loved by all. He really enjoyed his family. We would like to thank his "family" from MDC. Alan was very happy living there. Visitation will be 10-12 noon Friday, February 8, 2013 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Alan's honor to the Special Olympics of Greater Dayton 4130 Linden Avenue - Suite 310 Dayton, Ohio 45432.
