News Death Notice
O'GRADY-THOMAS, Elinor M. 91, of Centerville passed away Monday, 2/4/13 at Bethany Village. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann and Arthur Atkins, husbands, Norman D. Hohnstock and Michael A. O'Grady, Jr.; sister, Doris Perkins; and stepson, Jerry Thomas. She is survived by husband, Edward R. Thomas; daughter, J.J. Hohnstock; son, Mick O'Grady (Karen); stepchildren, Steve, Mark, David Thomas and Janie Loughran; grandchildren, Randy, Michael, Cassie and James; numerous step grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Elinor owned Park Avenue Secretarial Service. She started a Macular Degeneration Support Group in Kettering and at Bethany Village. She was publisher and author of the SEE EASY COOKBOOK for the vision impaired which her daughter will continue. Elinor was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church, Red Hat Society, Centerville Rockettes, Women's Pilot Club, BPWA, KSSC, and volunteered at Bethany Village. Elinor will be interred through WSU Boonshoft School of Medicine's Anatomical Gift Program. Memorial Service is 2:00 PM, Sat., 2/16, Fairmont Presbyterian Church, Kettering. Elinor asked that Hospice of Dayton be remembered in her honor.
