BREIDENBAUGH, Mary A. nee McEntee of Centerville, proud lifetime resident of the great State of Ohio, passed away February 9, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Marc L. Breidenbaugh, loving mother of sons Philip (Christine) and Christopher, daughters Mary Lester and Anne Hartman (Calvin), and two stillborn daughters, cherished grandmother to Jenny Ellis (Gerry), Andrew Breidenbaugh (Allison), Marc Breidenbaugh, Molly Breidenbaugh, Diana Vandegrift (Ryan), Laura Lester, Garrett Hartman and Eric Hartman, dear great-grandmother to Lyla and Andrew Vandegrift and Zachary Ellis, aunt to many nieces and nephews, including her "first kids" Patricia Thomas and Nancy Mooney, dear sister of the late Virginia Neff, and William and James Simonton, long-time cherished friend of Florence Ahl. Mary worked as a bookkeeper at Cappel's Furniture Store in Dayton, Ohio prior to starting a family, and later helped to establish the school library at St. Christopher's School in Vandalia, Ohio. She enjoyed writing short stories and producing original works of fiction for her grandchildren. A great lover of history and traveling, Mary often said that she found the greatest pleasure of her life in being a mother. Her children honor her memory and her guidance with utmost gratitude. Visitation on Friday, Feb. 15th from 9-10 A.M. at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 411 E. Second St. Dayton, OH 45402, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
