Obituary Condolences

News Death Notice

FISTE, Elizabeth Ann (Betty Truss) Born July 26, 1930 and departed this earth Feb. 15, 2013 to be reunited with her husband of 49 years Harold (Bud) Fiste. Betty is survived by her 3 daughters, Sandy (Gary) Wehr of Columbus, Susan Mason of Springfield, and Sally Fiste of West Carrollton, her sister Jean (Dick) Chenoweth of Wapakaneta, Sister-in-law, Mary Fiste, and her nephews, John Titcome and David Fiste. Betty had 5 grandchildren, Ashley Fiste, Cari Larkin, Michael (Amie) Wehr, Robbie (Adrianna) Mason and Stacey (Nakia) Myers, eleven great-grandkids, Carly and Nic Larkin, Brandon, Tielor, Darrick, Darron and Michael Jr. Wehr, Emila and RJ Mason and Maybella and Romulus Myers. Betty was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Carrollton. She loved every opportunity to attend which was made more frequent because of Nancy Knight who made the time to see that Betty had a ride to and from church. Another joy in Betty's life was St. Leonard's "Dayaway" program. Betty always looked forward to helping take care of the old folks. One of the highlights of going was the bus ride there with the bus driver, Jerry. The family is truly appreciative of the program and the enjoyment it gave Betty. The family is also eternally grateful to Brenda Clarke without whose selfless dedication to the Fiste household made it possible for Betty to stay in her home to the final end. She has done so much for this family that mere words can't express our appreciation. Our deepest thanks also go to Joyce Kauperman, RN who has also gone way above and beyond the call of duty for family and to Dan Menke for taking Betty out for dinner so many times just to get her out of the house. Visitation and Services will be held from 11am to 1pm on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. 410 E. Pease Ave, West Carrollton, Oh. Pastor Charles R. Beckett, officiating. A private gravesite internment will be held immediately afterwards. Friends are welcome to remain at the church for a light luncheon. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.Arrangements, Sanner Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
