News Death Notice
LESKO, Mary Catherine (Herbert) age 80 of Trotwood, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013. She had worked part time for 14 years at Roderer Shoes. Mary was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles, cross stitching and crafts. She is survived by her children: Audrey Pearson of Centerville, Dennis Herbert of Columbus, Lynn Herbert of CA, Patrick Herbert of Mentor, six grandchildren, one great grandson, sister-in-law: Luella Herbert of MO, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years: John C. Lesko, parents: Victor and Lidwina (Muth) Herbert, brothers: Victor and Ralph Herbert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (4961 Salem Ave.) with Fr. Tim Knepper, C.P.P.S. as celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).
