HONSTED, Shelby Jean 73, of Bellbrook, passed away Wednesday March 27, 2013 at Heartland of Centerville. She was born July 23, 1939 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Jewel Maxine (Patrick) Lodwick and Edward C. Lodwick. Shelby loved animals and made several her pets. She was passionate about fishing and traveling and especially enjoyed Florida and Canada. Shelby will be lovingly remembered for her love of Elvis, the Gaithers, and anything chocolate. She retired from Sugarcreek Schools in Bellbrook where she was a bus driver. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Gloria Baker. Shelby is survived by her husband Robert, two sons Lonnie Honsted (Kristina) of Bellbrook and Doug Honsted (Dora) of Dayton, two granddaughters Jamie and Jessica, and one brother Ronald Lodwick (Roberta) of Kettering. The family will receive friends Monday April 1 from 5-7 pm at CONNER & KOCH Home for Funerals, Cremations and Life Celebrations, 92 W. Franklin St. (S.R. 725), Bellbrook. A celebration of her life will follow at 7:00 pm at CONNER & KOCH. Private interment at Bellbrook Cemetery.
