TREADWAY, Dolores Picana Hurst Dolores Picana was born January 18, 1940, a native of the Philippines during Japanese occupation. She has indicated at the age of four, she witnessed the execution of her parents. She had a sister; it is unknown whether she was younger or older than Dolores and whose last known address was somewhere in China. As a younger woman, Dolores took in to raise as her own four children, Abegail Chua, an optometrist in Davao City, Philippines, Sheilamine Pacana, Abegail's assistant, Edgardo Chua, also in Davao City, and Virgilio Chua, an engineer in Los Angeles. In the early 1990's Dolores and Donald Hurst became acquainted, and were married in Manila following courtship, before returning to her new life in Arizona. Upon arrival, Dolores became employed in the casinos at Las Vegas as a cashier, and learned also how to drive. She became a U.S. Citizen in 1994. In 1996, the marriage ended in dissolution. Subsequently, Linden Treadway and Dolores began courting in 1998, and married November 2, 2001. Beloved Linden died November 28, 2005, survived by his wife Dolores, and his daughter, Cherie Treadway. Dolores herself, an indomitable spirit, succumbed to the ravages of time April 5, 2013, following an extended debilitation from dementia. Her last years were spent in Cedarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lebanon Ohio, where she received excellent care. Her humor, love and feisty nature will be sorely missed by her caregivers. A memorial service will be 7pm Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH with Rev. Anthony Everidge officiating.
