News Death Notice
HABER, Dorothy N. (Klosterman) age 97 of Englewood, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. She had worked as a hairdresser for Elders and later had her own shop at her home from 1962 to 2000. She was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration in West Milton where she was involved with the Good Neighbor Club. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Gary Haber of Tipp City, Jon and Jacqueline Haber of Conyers, GA, Tillie Haber of Clayton, brothers: Omer Klosterman of Montezuma, grandchildren: Angela (Timothy "Rocky") Rudd, Christina Haber, Lora Haber, great grandchildren: Lauren and Madelyn Rudd, Jacksen Robert Haber, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years: Robert W. "Bob" Haber, parents: John and Rose (Dorsten) Klosterman, sisters: Alma Meyer, Ethel Haren and brother: Maurice Klosterman. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cypress Pointe and Hospice of Dayton for the wonderful care given to Dorothy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Church of the Transfiguration (972 S. Miami St., West Milton) with Fr. John MacQuarrie as celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville. The family will receive friends on Friday (TODAY), from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) where prayers will be said at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, prior to Mass.
