BOOTH, Sr., William John age 86, of Dayton, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at Maria Joseph Nursing Center. Born in Richmond, Indiana and a resident of Dayton for over 35 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alice Booth; brothers, Garland & Joseph; sisters, Donna Rose, Elizabeth & Carolyn. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 20 years, Sharon Booth; sons, William Jr. (Marie), Joseph and John Booth; daughters, Carlotta Booth-Shelton (Chrystopher) & Mary Freeman; brother, Marvin Booth; sister, Cheryl Booth-Bee (George); special friends, Sammy Stevens, Georgia Byrd, Thelma Booth & Leatha Hicks; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Sonny (Marie), James (Sandra) and Robert Baccus, Saundra Baccus, Linda South & Carol Mitchell; pet dog, Buddy; a host of grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday, May 10, 2013 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. Henry Brewer officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
